Virginia Peninsula Community College professors Julie Young and Scott Bellows led two four-day drone camps at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center the past two weeks. Eleven students from area high schools participated each week. Every student passed certification, allowing them to fly drones. In addition, campers received a drone at the end of the week. The camps were sponsored by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
